Forward-looking communications –effective and to the point.

Mirko Wollrab is a founding partner of Corecoms. He has many years of experience in communications as a manager, consultant and correspondent, as well as leadership experience in building teams and restructuring. He has excellent access to decision-makers in investment banking, private equity, restructuring, insolvency and law firms. Before founding Corecoms, Mirko had been Head of Communications, Marketing and Research at Hamburg Commercial Bank AG (HCOB).

Prior to that, he set up the Frankfurt office of the communications consultancy CNC and managed it as an equity partner with a focus on transactions and special situations (restructuring & insolvencies).  Before that, Mirko worked for almost nine years as a journalist for international news agencies in Frankfurt/Main, including as Reuters Chief Correspondent for the German financial sector with a focus on investment banking and central banks, M&A and IPOs. He gained journalistic experience at numerous other media outlets. Mirko studied economics and business administration in Kiel and Hamburg.

Johannes Förster is a founding partner of Corecoms and has extensive consulting and management experience. His focus has been particularly on supporting strategy and transformation and restructuring projects as a consultant, project leader and manager. Before founding Corecoms, Johannes supported management teams as a consultant in an international post-merger integration project.

Prior to this, he held various positions in the COO divisions of UBS and Deutsche Bank for over 10 years, where he and his teams drove forward projects to improve performance and efficiency and to implement regulatory requirements. Johannes Förster is a Scrum Master and Project Management Professional (PMI) and has completed training in systemic organisational consulting, among other things. He studied economics in Witten/Herdecke and philosophy at the Gregorian University in Rome.

Philip Sagioglou has many years of experience on the corporate side – including as communications director and spokesperson – as well as a journalist in renowned print, TV and digital editorial offices. He has been a partner at Corecoms since September 2023. Previously, Philip lead global corporate communications as a Director at DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga, which is responsible for organizing and marketing the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2. Philip was part of the sports and media company's management circle and of the DFL core team for COVID crisis management.

Before joining the DFL, Philip worked for many years as a journalist – including for WDR and ARD, Die Welt and Welt am Sonntag, as well as Cologne's largest media outlet, Kölner Stadt Anzeiger, where he completed an editorial traineeship. Philip has also worked as an author and reporter for various other media. While working, he completed a degree in sports management on the side. In 2015, medium magazine ranked Philip among the top 30 to 30 in German journalism.

Before joining Corecoms, Luisa worked for another strategic communications consultancy for two years, where she was involved in the development of communications strategies, issue architectures, positioning concepts and management presentations. She also has extensive experience in writing trend and study reports and conducting media analyses and stakeholder surveys.

During her master studies in Corporate Communication Management (M.Sc.) at the University of Pforzheim and in Odense, Luisa already focused on strategic corporate communication. Her Bachelor's degree in Media Research/Media Practice (B.A.) at the Technical University of Dresden and in Amsterdam laid the foundation for this, and she gained experience in government institutions and agencies.

Dr. Anna Hinrichsen has gained professional experience in a wide range of areas over the past 20 years and is therefore familiar with the perspectives of stakeholders from business, science and politics. She has a successful track record in institutional, corporate and consulting roles. Previously, Anna accompanied the IPO of SMA Solar Technology and was then responsible for investor relations for several years. She managed projects in the field of foreign trade and international affairs for Hessen Agentur. She also worked for the German-Korean Chamber of Commerce in Seoul, South Korea. She then worked for a leading strategic communications consultancy and as a freelancer, focusing on IPO and M&A communications, investor relations, financial communications and ESG communications.

Anna studied communications and economics in Berlin, Sydney and London. She holds a PhD in Corporate Finance from the Technical University of Darmstadt (TUD). She is also a Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) and a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance (CESFi).

Inga Radel has extensive experience in Germany and abroad as a press officer, editor and correspondent. She worked for the Austrian Reichel Business Group (RBG) for many years, including as head of communications for Germany's largest tennis tournament at Rothenbaum in Hamburg and as press officer for other events, including the Swiss Alps Classics music festival in Switzerland. Prior to that, she worked for the German Press Agency (dpa) for seven years, most recently as a London correspondent. She also completed her professional training at dpa as part of an editorial traineeship; her other stations at the news agency included Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main and Brussels.

Inga also worked for many years as a journalist for various newspapers, magazines and digital media, including the Hamburger Abendblatt, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the Berliner Tagesspiegel and the sports magazine kicker. She holds a degree in Applied Cultural Studies from Leuphana University in Lüneburg and studied journalism at Indiana University in Bloomington.

Sophie Victoria Schiereck is part of our team focusing on corporate and sustainability communications. Previously, she supported the further development of the sustainability strategy, the preparation for the new CSRD obligations and the implementation of various sustainability measures in a large sports association. She also gained work experience in a sustainable food start-up.

She holds a Masters in Management with a specialization in Sustainability from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Sophie also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Heidelberg. During her studies, Sophie volunteered in student organizations such as the International Student Union (INTU) at the University of Gothenburg and was elected as a student representative.

Alexander Styles is a corporate and financial communications expert with many years of in-house and consulting experience. He specializes in media and capital market communications, especially in the digital environment. Previously, he lead corporate and financial communications at the online platform Zalando. His responsibilities included communications on finance, strategy, governance and M&A as well as managing a team of spokespeople for various regions and topics.

Prior to that, Alexander worked for a leading international communications consultancy in Frankfurt and London. There he led projects in the areas of financial communications and reputation, focusing on private equity clients and advising start-ups and scale-ups. Alexander holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics & Economics from the University of Münster and a Master's degree in Corporate Communications & Reputation Management from Manchester Business School. Alexander is a German-English native speaker and a Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO). He is also a member of the Digital Working Group of the German Investor Relations Association (DIRK).
